mid-February, 1873 | Renamed to "Aurora". |
August 8, 1881 | Sold without tender to Oregon Railway and Navigation Company for $9,500. |
August 1881 | Renamed and renumbered OR&N #39 (later #16). |

Comments
The V&T #15 Aurora had a long 13' 3" wheelbase that made it only fit on the track between Reno and Carson City.
The locomotive was seldom driven on the curves all the way to Virginia City.
The locomotive was delivered with injectors.
